Front End Developer (Remote) at Rayda – #400,000 – #500,000

We are looking for a full stack engineer proficient with React.js and Laravel to contribute to the development and maintenance of our products. You will work with a team consisting of other full stack engineers to build the ‘client-side’ and ‘server-side’ of our web applications.

Responsibilities:

• The primary focus will be on developing user facing interfaces and features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality codes.
• Optimising components for maximum performance against an array of web capable devices and browsers.
• The secondary focus will be on developing backend APIs to support the frontend applications.

Requirements for the role

• 3+ years of relevant work experience with ReactJs
• 2+ years of relevant work experience with Laravel
• Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)
• Experience in working with REST API’s
• Skilled in the building of front end libraries
• A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
• Collaborative abilities is also a requirement
• Product quality and design sophistication will be highly considered
