Commonwealth Caribbean Cyber Experts Fellowship 2024

This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for cybersecurity experts from Commonwealth Caribbean countries to share expertise, build partnerships, and shape policy initiatives with the Commonwealth Secretariat.

Selected fellows will serve for two years. They get exclusive access to academic research opportunities, networking events and annual conferences, with a focus on enhancing cybersecurity policies, processes and institutions across Commonwealth countries in the Caribbean.
This is the inaugural cycle of the Commonwealth Caribbean Experts Fellowship programme, supported by the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. It is designed to support the delivery of the Commonwealth Cyber Declaration, a framework agreed by Commonwealth countries in 2018 to promote a safe and prosperous cyberspace for 2.7 billion Commonwealth citizens.
Eligibility
- Any citizen of a Commonwealth country in the Caribbean between the ages of 25 and 60 can apply to join the fellowship.
- Applicants must also have at least five years of experience working on cybersecurity in the fields of law, policymaking, cybersecurity, telecommunications, academia or related sectors.

To apply, applicants must submit the following documents to cyberfellowship@commonwealth.int by 23:59 BST on 23 September 2024:
- their resume;
- a cover letter; and
- details of two referees.
