Job Overview

We are seeking a senior copywriter to develop clear, concise marketing, PR, and ad-based copy that informs and engages target audiences. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned copywriting professional with proven experience developing innovative and strategically-driven creative concepts, conducting research, and applying SEO best practices to write with an authoritative, modern and engaging voice.

This is a remote work position.

Responsibilities

• Develop breakthrough, value-driven copy consistent with the Right Networks brand.
• Leverage analytics and knowledge of design to develop clear, conversion-driving copy for use in multiple channels.
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements and KPIs.
• Collaborate with marketing leads, corporate communications, and content writers to foster the creation of top-performing copy (e.g., headlines, landing pages, PR-facing promotions).
• Regularly solicit feedback from key requestors in order to adapt messaging accordingly and in a timely manner.
• Monitor materials through pre- and post-production to measure and evaluate success.
• Conduct high-quality research and discovery interviews to develop strong copy.
• Edit and proofread copy as needed.
• Effectively apply current SEO principles to maximize copy reach.
• Actively research current copy trends and educate peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional B2B copywriting experience.
• Proven talent (portfolio showcasing examples of relevant assets).
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
• Strong research skills and knowledge of SEO standards and best practices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to effectively educate and coach peers on current copywriting trends.
• Ability to work in a self-directed work culture and meet expectations and deadlines.
• Copywriting samples and test projects are required.
• While not required for the work scope, any experience in the tax and accounting profession will warrant special consideration.

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Office 365, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Experience with popular communication platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Wrike (project management platform) experience preferred.
